Barrow Neurological Institute has expanded its Barrow Neuro Analytics Center, nearly doubling its research capacity to over 18,000 square feet. The expansion adds 8,317 square feet to the existing 10,099-square-foot facility, consolidating additional research programs into a single location at Park Central.
According to Brad Racette, Chairman of Neurology and Senior Vice President, this development marks a significant step forward in neurological research. The enhanced facility is expected to accelerate discoveries related to environmental factors and healthcare access, ultimately contributing to efforts aimed at reducing disease burden and health disparities.
Since its launch in 2024, the Barrow Neuro Analytics Center has quickly emerged as a leader in neuroscience research. Its globally recognized team focuses on cutting-edge areas such as environmental neuroscience, global health, and artificial intelligence-driven analytics. Current research efforts span major neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, ALS, and brain cancers, using advanced data-driven methodologies.
Dr. Racette further emphasized that the center’s work is instrumental in advancing treatment development for complex neurological disorders while also informing global environmental policies designed to reduce disease prevalence.
