Iconeus, a France-based neuroimaging company specializing in functional ultrasound (fUS) technology for real-time brain activity visualization, has announced the establishment of its U.S. subsidiary, Iconeus Inc.. This development marks an important step in expanding the adoption of functional ultrasound in preclinical neuroscience research.
The new U.S. entity will strengthen collaboration with American academic laboratories, research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, and contract research organizations that utilize advanced imaging tools to investigate brain function, neurological diseases, and therapeutic innovation.
To support this expansion, Iconeus has appointed Joshua Dufresne as Business Development Manager and its first U.S.-based team member. In this role, he will focus on building strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and strengthening engagement with neuroscience laboratories, research institutions, and industry partners across North America.
